McBee Elementary is an exceptional school with outstanding students, teachers, staff, parents and a very supportive community. We are located in the heart of McBee, SC. MES has approximately 350 students in grades CD – 5th grade. Our 5th grade students transition to McBee Middle / High School.

We offer programs for students with disabilities as well as those students that are gifted. We provide Kindergarten Connections, Reading Recovery, and intervention services to meet the individual needs of our learners.

We strive to differentiate the curriculum and to challenge each student to reach their greatest potential. Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum to enhance learning. Imagine Learning and Literacy and Imagine Math provide computer based activities based on individual needs.

At McBee Elementary our students will change the world! We provide many opportunities for students to give back to the community through various service projects. We raise money for Relay for Life and March of Dimes. Both our Beta Club and chorus groups are very active. They participate in food drives, bake sales, visiting area nursing homes, Shoebox ministry, and many other service projects. This is just a few of the ways we show our McBee Pride by giving back to the community. After all, MES is the small school with a big heart. We have learners today that will be leaders tomorrow and truly change the world in a positive manner.
