At McBee Elementary School, we believe:
 
  • Schools need to function as a learning community and all members must work together to carry out our mission

  • Student learning is the main focus of the school
  • Students need to demonstrate their understanding of essential knowledge and skills, and also need to be actively involved in solving problems and producing quality work
  • A safe, clean, and physically comfortable environment promotes student learning
  • Students and parents need to take an active part in the classroom setting
  • Subject areas should include different learning activities so that all students are comfortable in the classroom setting
  • Students need to apply their learning in meaningful contexts
  • School should provide students with the tools to be life-long learners
